There is no denying the fact that better connectivity tends to bring in great economic and infrastructural development in an area. This tends to push the overall living condition and thereby the lifestyle. So, there will be a growing impact on houses and a boom in real estate as well.

So, whenever a big expressway is being made, it is likely to have a positive impact on the real estate sector.

This expressway is also going to pass through some of the lesser developed areas as well. Such areas are likely going to benefit significantly from the project.

The idea is to develop several skill-based industries on the route as the area currently relies largely on dairy farming and agriculture. Shirdi which is one of the top religious communities is likely to enjoy much better connectivity from both Mumbai and Nagpur which are modern-day fast cities. This can therefore boost the chances of Shirdi as a potential second home destination. A lot of people tend to make homes at such locations as a potential investment.

More than Mumbai, it is believed that Nagpur is much more likely to see massive real estate growth as this expressway might kickstart a new dawn in the real estate field of the city which lacked the right growth driving factors so far.

Along with this, there is no denying the fact that Maharashtra is the warehouse hub of India. So, once the Mumbai Nagpur expressway is operational, it is likely to be very beneficial for the supply chain process. More export import trade is likely to occur with this expressway becoming operational. It will connect to the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust in Mumbai and also the Nagpur multi-modal international hub airport at Nagpur.

One of the negative sides to the whole development is the large discontentment among farmers. It is believed that farmers have been deeply disturbed. Though the government claims that they are offering alternate sites, the media continues to report a different story as the farmers are cutting a sorry figure. It remains to be seen as to what is the real truth and whether or not the government is doing something for the sake of fixing this issue.
